Competition
Competition teams at Studio West Dance Center are for dancers who are wanting to take their training to the next level. Competition teams are based on ability and age after an audition.

Company dancers will compete at 3 local competitions annually with the opportunity to also attend a convention.
​
Company dancers will also perform at our end of the year recital.

Intro to Competition
Intro to Competition is for dancers who LOVE to perform! This program offers exposure to a competition dance experience centered around fun, technique and performing. Dancers will be placed in groups according to age as well as skill level. They will have the opportunity to be placed into jazz, lyrical, tap and musical theater routines.

Dancers who participate in our Intro to Competition program will compete at 1-2 local dance competitions throughout the season. They will also have the option to perform at local events such as Light Up Victoria, Timberwolves Games, HS Basketball games and more!
